Clay Night with Clay & Stitches
Clay Night: Handbuilt Pottery Plates with Amanda Neal (Clay & Stitches) Spend an evening getting your hands in clay and creating something truly one-of-a-kind. Join Amanda Neal of Clay & Stitches for a relaxed, beginner-friendly pottery workshop where you’ll handbuild your own decorative plate from start to finish. Amanda will guide you through shaping, texturing, and design techniques to bring your vision to life—whether you lean simple and organic or love a little extra detail. This is a one-session experience where you’ll both construct and underglaze your piece, giving it color and personality before it heads off for firing. ✨ You’ll leave with: • A fully designed handbuilt pottery plate • New skills in handbuilding and surface design • A creative night out (no experience needed) Your finished piece will be professionally fired and returned to The Purple Turtle for pickup at a later date. Thursday, May 7th 5:30 – 7:30 PM $55 per person All materials included Maximum 10 participants As always, space is intentionally limited to keep things easygoing and hands-on. Grab a seat, bring a friend, or come solo and settle into a creative evening. Please note: Finished pieces will be available for pickup approximately 2–3 weeks after the workshop. Refunds are not available, but transfers to another guest are always welcome if you’re unable to attend.
