🌳 Native Tree Giveaway – April 25, 2026 🌳

Celebrate spring by adding a native tree or shrub to your yard! Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9:00am–12:00pm at the W.J. Niederkorn Library in Port Washington for a free native sapling giveaway (while supplies last).

Available species include:
Bur Oak, Red Oak, Swamp White Oak, Red Maple, Arrowwood Viburnum, Black Chokeberry, American Filbert, Eastern Redbud, and American Plum.

Native trees support local wildlife, strengthen our ecosystem, and help keep Port Washington beautiful for generations to come. 🌿

During the event, enjoy a special screening of Beyond Our Senses: Bank Swallows, a 27-minute nature documentary by filmmaker David Busse exploring the lives and hidden sensory world of Bank Swallows.
