Join us on June 3rd from 11 am to 5 pm for Port Festival of the arts! The summer kickoff event will feature artist vendors, vibrant performing arts from local and regional dance groups, eclectic music, street food, and family-fun art activities. We will be closing down Historic Franklin Street for this street festival and inviting businesses out on the street for food, drink, and wares.

Performing Arts Headliners include Lucky Diop and the Kassamai African Dance Troup, MKE Irish Dance Co., Warped Studios (acrobatic performers), NHQD Academy (Hmong folk dancers), and our very own Impact Performing Arts.

The music stage will bring some Latin flair with Septeto Charambo, highlight some local instrumentalists, and feature eclectic tunes like the Irish band Reilly.

Milwaukee Art Museum’s Kohl’s Mobile Art Studio will be in town, bringing tons of hands-on art activities for families! We also have a full map of interactive fun from face painting, squirt gun painting, henna tattoos, kids’ African drum lessons, bounce house, DIY fiber arts, permanent jewelry, and more.
