The American Legion Post 82 has stood as a proud symbol of service, sacrifice, and community in Port Washington for generations. Our historic building is more than just bricks and mortar—it’s a vital gathering place for veterans, families, and civic groups who rely on its presence for support, camaraderie, and connection.

We are launching our Raise the Roof Fundraiser Campaign to ensure that this treasured landmark remains safe, functional, and standing strong for years to come. Every dollar raised will go directly toward critical repairs to preserve our roof and infrastructure.
