VCAF: Veterans Reception

You’re invited to the Veteran Creative Arts Festival Reception to kickoff the show on display at the library during June!

Veteran Creative Arts Festival:

Participate in our Veteran Creative Arts Festival! Any Veteran and their family members can celebrate their art! Attend any of our Art Workshops and submit your artwork from a workshop, or create artwork on your own and submit it to the Festival by May 30th.

Artwork will be on display (anonymously) at the library from June 2nd – June 30th. The public will be able to vote on artwork. Winners will be notified on July 1st, the Veteran Artist Award Ceremony will take place at the library on July 2nd, and winning pieces will go on display at the VCAF at Zablocki on July 7th.

Who can participate?

Veterans and their family members from Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Dodge, Washington, Manitowoc, Calumet, Fond du Lac, and Waukesha counties.

What is required for submission?

Please provide the following information in your submission:

– Veteran’s name

– Phone number or email

(If family member is participating, please also provide):

– Family member names

– Family member ages (youth only)

To respect the privacy of all participants, art work will remain anonymous.
