VCAF Workshop: Expressive Journaling

Veteran Creative Arts Festival:

Participate in our Veteran Creative Arts Festival! Any Veteran and their family members can celebrate their art! Attend any of our Art Workshops and submit your artwork from a workshop, or create artwork on your own and submit it to the Festival by May 30th.

Artwork will be on display (anonymously) at the library from June 2nd – June 30th. The public will be able to vote on artwork. Winners will be notified on July 1st, the Veteran Artist Award Ceremony will take place at the library on July 2nd, and winning pieces will go on display at the VCAF at Zablocki on July 7th.

Expressive Journaling:

This nurturing workshop with Martha, Barbara, and Bonita provides an opportunity to connect words and color in a creative way. You will collage a journal and have time for an entry or two! It’s for all ages and skill levels. Make a journal for yourself or create one for the family to chronicle your ongoing journey. This is a chance for families to connect, create, and share time together.
